Inconsistent production data is often the root cause of production errors in the SMT factory. Centralized data maintenance and storage can improve the quality of your production data significantly.
ASM EDM prohibits the use of different program versions within the production process.
To make sure that all changes are being considered, the latest program versions aren’t downloaded to the line computer until just before the production start.
If properly authorized users make program changes on the line, ASM EDM recognizes this and requires an appropriate approval before the changes are transferred to the central archive.
